"Ah, youth. I nearly forgot what it was like." She says this more to herself than to anyone else, a murmur that might be audible but isn't going out of its way to do so. Then, louder, her voice takes on a hint of authority: "At ease, soldier. I can stand behind you if that would make things easier. You're hardly showing me anything I haven't seen before."
