[ Silco waved his cigar-laden hand, the other -- and there was a second hand now -- was fully gloved, and held a highball of whiskey. The gap between his coat and his glove occasionally spread, to show a line of flesh and something... Wrong, as if something different had been grafted to his hand. Occasionally, the vein that connected flickered with something purple like his veins ran with something other than blood.

Which, was accurate, in more ways than one.

There is no such thing as knowing more than what destroyed our worlds. As far as I know it is not... anything. [ He shrugged. Once, he had thought it was that malevolent, hateful force that once ran in his body along with blood, but since excising that when he arrived here, he'd decided it was different. It was...hungry, yes, and still marvelous. He'd once considered it to be truly grand, and he still did.

That just made it more of a challenge to destroy, or circumvent, which he fully intended to do so. ]

It destroys. We live. Yima wants something, and she wants to achieve it. We Zenites... some are here for her. [ His eyes seek out Amos, somewhere likely within the members here. He knows that the man is here for Yima, because the man was loyal to her above all else. ] Some of us are here because the worlds we left behind are not worth returning. [ He gestured to himself. ] Others are here for those that are most precious to us.

[ Also Silco, mostly that, but he does not gesture toward himself. Deflection, always. ]

We are all working to achieve Zenith's goal, to destroy all that's left, and build a new world from the ashes. Personally, I don't care much about that world that we will make. [ Well, beyond that Jinx will be cared for, wild and free. Nothing else about it mattered. ]
