[ Gray spends much less time in Highstorm than she used to, thanks to the increasingly inhospitable attitude of the city toward Meridian Shard-Bearers. Luckily, the weather is a fine excuse for her to bundle up in layers that make her perpetually hooded self a natural sight among the bundled-up Highstorm citizens... provided her hood stays low and snug. The scar on her face and the blonde streak in her hair mark her clearly otherwise.
She has two reasons to visit Highstorm semi-regularly: to stop by Edelstein, Rin's shop of curios and magecraft, and to tend to her flower patch in Greenwood Yards. The latter is what lays her path across Karlach. Gray is only passing by, trying to keep a low profile, when Karlach's distantly familiar face and voice stop her in her tracks.
Gray, ever obedient, automatically deposits her hand in Karlach's, glove to glove. ]
Ah, you're...
[ She trails off. She never got this woman's name the first time they spoke, but Gray couldn't forget that distinctive look. Anyway! Manners run like steel through Gray's veins, so she forges on as if Karlach didn't just make a weird demand of her. ]
