[There is an almost amused sort of tilt to her lips as he brings up the idea of gods recreating various iterations of worlds, but she leaves it uncommented on for the moment, listening with attention as he continues.

It seems like he’s going through the same sort of trail of thoughts as she had when she’d first arrived and had been trying to figure all of this out. Zenith could be on to something with their hopes for the future. Meridian might not be off the mark with their refusal to give up on the old worlds if life continues on here like this, with an unsteady trickle of new souls popping up now and then. But that last point, the one he puzzles on, it sheds a bit of a light on this whole thing from an angle she hadn’t considered too much.]

Speaking as a doctor who’s treated a lot of terminal patients… sometimes that kinda thing—when the end is finally right there—can be real hard to tell. And when it comes to worlds or universes or whatever, it’s even moreso. I don’t think there’s any way to make the decision we’re all faced with here but to go with your gut.

[Everyone’s got their own read on it, and well… what else can they do? The uncertainty still doesn’t sit well with her, but at least it doesn’t gnaw at her so much anymore.]

I hope that if we do end up winning over here, that we can make something worthwhile. Even if it’s not perfect, we can keep working ‘til it is. Y’know, it’s funny you mention gods building up worlds over and over again, because I was talking to a resident god here about the same thing just a few days ago…

[Which might actually sound a little insane to say to someone who probably isn’t used to all the nonsense around here, now that she’s said it out loud.]
