[ The problem isn't coming back into existence. If anything, that's the only normal part of the Kenos puzzle: the process of rebuilding himself, cell by cell, limb by painstaking limb, is something he knows with striking familiarity. The dream, the smell and feel of bursting past loamy earth, the knowledge of a world ending, the everything else—well.

That all makes a little less sense. ]

A. Springstar
[ It's hard to care or get caught up in the festivities as someone new, unaffiliated and yet unaware of the goings on here; it's... strange in how celebration can happen after the end of everything. Unfair, almost, if he allows himself a moment of pettiness. But it's not bad, watching people in their (somewhat strained?) enthusiasm, warmed with light and weathered hope for something lost.

Since there are people trying to "mentor" new souls, he'll stop loading up on his plate of food for a moment to ask a simple, softspoken question. ]

Do you like it here?

B. Highstorm
[ Despite a speech that plants its hopes solidly in the future, Highstorm feels more introspective, and it makes it easier to get caught up in the emotion of all that's happened—so he's eager to avoid the reflecting pool, more likely literally anywhere else. For example, approaching someone intently at the Greenwood Yards, grave as ever. ]

Please help me with this assignment. [ Serious handholding hours. ]

C. Alenroux
[ While the day-to-day activity of Alenroux is comforting in its liveliness, (i.) he tends to wallflower the tourist activity, studying the wine bars and demonstrations more than jumping to participate, watching them with a restrained sort of curiosity.

(ii.) Though, at night—it's easier to get involved. For those also out and about, fighting or about to get ambushed by a creature, he's light on his feet and leashed by no hesitation. ]

Look out—!

[ He will throw himself into the path of any monster available. He also doesn't have any abilities right now though, so this might be stupid? Wowee. He's eager to help, at least. (iii.) Or, in the space after a fight—he watches one of the shadow creatures ooze back into the darkness. He stares hard at its fading outline, then at the blood dripping down to his elbow from a cut on his arm. His expression—usually stoic, about as exuberant as plain oatmeal, is perturbed. ]

It's true then? We have to choose a side for power?

[ (iv.) Or! Maybe he's the one plunging forward after a monster, but for different, less violent reasons, lured in after a shadow with a sense of very stark, very obvious urgency that's taking him too far from safety, out deeper into the woods. ]

D. Kowloon
[ Thanks to growing up with the shadiest possible mentor in the world, he has no shame or difficulty in finding a guide below. While he's still Lawful enough that anyone might notice he's slightly out of place (not being Zenith aligned outright—probably doesn't help, but it's better to explore before he commits), he's mostly quiet and obscured in his dealings here, currently crouched to observe a sprawl of weapons on sale.

Or he would be, if he didn't seem a little distracted by one of the non-humans. A ghoul, or otherwise. He stares for a moment too long, studious. ]
An alien...?

*. Wildcard
[ PLEASE wildcard me, silly or serious, i adore wildcards and don't know anything about anything! tree stuff, other non-tdm locations, and notebook network (notework?) also a-okay! ]
