[ That's a very wholesome answer. Gray wouldn't have expected Karlach to care for flowers, but admittedly, that impression probably had more to do with the woman's size and (frankly) appearance. It's seemed to Gray that the larger a person is, the less they tend to care for such delicate things as flowers. Maybe it's harder for taller people to to notice the details of things so far below them. (These are the suppositions of a person who is short enough that she can only fantasize about what it's like to be tall.) ]

When you put it that way... they really are amazing. Some of these plants don't even come from this world, but they're still managing to thrive.
