if chrono needs a buddy to go exploring with, eustace might be able to go with him! he has combat experience, some T2 spells, and also A Gun(TM). unfortunately he can be hard to get along with (that stoic lifestyle, yanno) but he does have a soft spot for teens since some of his favorite people back home are teens so at least he wouldn't turn around and abandon chrono....small mercies
