Oh yeah, she knows what grieving people can do. Hell the last bit of the manga has been about her going out of her way to give a terrorist group some hero figure to have an honorable fight with so they could vent their grief and frustration out on her.

She'll listen if he wants an ear to bend basically. If he wants to reconnect to those values she'll definitely listen and talk to him at length about it.
