I totally feel you on being slow to look into new things, I'm absolutely terrible at watching anything that gets recommended to me haha. I only watched Rise because yt kept throwing clip compilations of Donnie at me and I liked the humor enough to give it a shot and then it completely consumed my life whoops. It's definitely cute and fun if that's your thing! Highly recommend!
