Drizzt is an honorable soul and atypical hero — a ranger, oft accompanied by a retinue of companions and his ever-faithful partner, Gwenhwyvar, whom safeguards the peoples of the land. He holds himself to the highest ideals, often to his detriment, in an effort to be seen for who he is and not the long, vicious history that he hails from. He does not expect the same of others, and has a sort of poetic, gentle heart that is often repressed by survivalist practicality.
Set is,
the god of war and the desert, whom exists to validate the struggle of people during times of war, while also enjoying bullying the hell out of them. He's belligerent, demanding and deeply devoted to his own desires and curiosity, especially at the expense of others comfort. Despite his brutality ( both in terms of strength and personality ), he was once a guardian deity, and is a devoted father to whom only his child matters when push comes to shove!
Event specific plans: Set is going to be strung out on bath salts Shimmer, and thus available only for low/zero-dialogue threading focused on action tags! If you want: a good scar or maiming, the trauma of having to deal with a god on Shimmer, to test yourself — or maybe help him come down from the drugs in a safe environment, hmu! I'm interested in EVERYONE'S worlds, so maybe he can rampage through one as a fun environmental menace.
Also, don't worry about the fact that Set's world isn't one of the ones up there. Don't worry, it's fine. ( OOCly I chose not to do it, and ICly he'll have an #OPINION as to why it wasn't there later on. )
Drizzt, on the other hand, is going to be taking point as Blorbo Prime for this Oracle. A devoted and honorable Zenite, he is focused on a twofold mission: preventing Meridian's "suicide mission" to return to their worlds, and purging Zenith of naughty children. He's an interesting Zenite, in that he believes even the worst worlds deserve to exist — it's just that they don't anymore, and bringing them back is a danger to all current Shard-Bearers.
— His world is Menzoberranzan, the home of his youth that he left behind because it was destroying his sanity and gentle heart. He misses it, because he feels a great deal of empathy for the generational abuse the drow visit on one another, and LOATHES Lolth. ( Even though Lolth thinks of him as her plaything and champion, because of the perfect chaos he sows among her people. :( )
— A staunch supporter of the anti-Oblivion and anti-Yima "faction within a faction", Drizzt is firmly opinionated and iron tight in his beliefs. He's someone with incredible mental fortitude ( the complete opposite of Set lmao ), who will never treat an enemy with disrespect and will discuss what they want to do with their World Shard/Dreamer Shard, and make suggestions. However, as a Zenite, he will be in the camp of encouraging Shard-Bearers to not drag any World Shards with them, and instead letting them rest where they were last loved and living or mercifully destroying them to allow them to rest, as he thinks they're just ghosts going through the motions.
— He's already firmly against Meridian without personally loathing them, so if anyone wants to PVP him, HE'S DOWN FOR IT. Drizzt is a martial prodigy who supplements his melee skills with magic and the assistance of Gwenhwyvar, his astral panther and BFF. I do believe that he's going to be dissipating Silco, as a way to prove to multiple people ( looking at you Hayame, and Zenith ) that they do not need "people who will get the job done at any cost who are also people looking for any excuse to hurt others" helping Zenith win.
Do you want your character to find your shard? I actually am in the camp of "please don't shatter my character's Shards", which is shocking to me because usually I'm down for anything. I don't mind it juggling hands if people want to use "I have your Shard" as an excuse to kickstart CR, and Fane will probably be giving it back at the end.
