LOCATION NAME: The Shangri-la, the mothership of the Mu.
WORLD SHARD LOCATION: Tucked away in the bed of Soldier Blue, accessible primarily by teleporting into the room using your psionics, but if you’re unlucky enough not to be able to do that, there are also long, maze-like hallways that will get you there. People are not going to like you going there without a reason, however, since the Soldier just passed away…
DREAMER SHARD LOCATION: This Exalt-aspected Shard is gonna be in the nursery, sitting in the toybox. (The nursery itself, however? Devoid of children.)
A BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Shangri-la is a massive, multi-floored spaceship known to humans as “the Whale.” For the most part, it’s as mechanical as they come: it looks like your generic sci-fi spaceship in that everything is metallic and there are some glowing lights and a constant beeping from one place or another, but there is one major area in the “center” of the ship that mimics the natural world.
WHAT TO DO IN THIS WORLD:
• Feel what it’s like to be surrounded by psychics who are constantly speaking into your mind all the time. They can and will gossip about you, so you can enjoy being bombarded by everyone judging your outfit.
• Enjoy the vastness of spaaaaaace. The Shangri-la has some nice views!
• Take a class about the history of the world Tony is from. There is a lecture hall where they educate young Mu, so you can enjoy the knowledge that a couple thousand years in the future, everyone is test tube babies and the government decides who your parents are.
• Meet the Crying Mouse, Rain! This scrunkly little guy is also telepathic, so he will say some cute words of support into your head, and may even be able to lead you to the Shards… or you can just grab him by the tail and carry him around like Tony does.
There’s no more info, really. It’s a big fuckin’ spaceship with a lot of NPC psychics running around! Probably the most significant thing to note is that, without the people who Tony really knows and cares about, there are only ten or twenty people total on the ship. It’s an awfully small population of people...
