LOCATION NAME: Arianrhod (also known as the Silver Maiden) and the countryside around it, in Rowe County

WORLD SHARD LOCATION: Deep in the fortress, past traps and through secret passageways.

DREAMER SHARD LOCATION: A small, nondescript house in an unremarkable little village, in the kitchen.

A BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Rowe County is deep in western Faerghus, bordering the Empire. The world is a thoroughly medieval one in terms of its technology, with magic to accompany. Situated right along that border is the towering fortress Arianrhod, so large that it's known as a fortress city. Within its walls many soldiers are garrisoned, hurriedly carrying out repairs to the structure alongside a varied population of workers, which has clearly seen battle in the not too distant past.

If one were to roam beyond the more open expanses of the structure, they'd find an elaborate network of hidden passages riddled with traps — pitfalls, spikes, the works. Should one be possessed with a desire to delve deeply enough and disarm all of these, they'll find deep beneath the structure this world's heart.

One might overhear talk of the young Lord Rowe and the changes he's made to better peoples' lives in the wake of the war. Bits and snatches of conversation suggest the man has a sordid past, yet has proven quite devoted and capable.

Venturing beyond the fortress, there are sprawling pastoral fields. The scars of battle remain, yet villages are in various stages of recovery, aided by soldiers and mercenaries in the employ of House Rowe. One particular village, further off than the rest and surrounded by nothing particularly remarkable but large swaths of purple wildflowers littering its surroundings, has an especially small population. Has since the plague ravaged it, people say. The houses are modest, sporting little by way of noteworthy belongings... But one happens to smell distinctly of lilacs and freshly baked buns when one ventures within.

WHAT TO DO IN THIS WORLD:
• Explore the fortress! Peoole say only the young Lord Rowe, last of his house, knows all of its inner workings. For those inclined toward puzzles or just interested in the challenge, it may be worthwhile to see how far one can get. It's no overstatement to say that it's like one giant puzzle.

• Check out the stables — one is just as likely to spot horses as wyverns, and hey, who says you can't take one for a ride while no one is looking? They're well-trained mounts and behave accordingly. The county's quite lovely from wyvernback, in fact, though the scars of war are still healing.

• Visit villages and see what traveling merchants have for sale! Wares range from practical restoratives to armaments to...is that a stuffed bear stylized to look like it's wearing armor? Why yes it is.

• Fight off bandits! While the county is recovering, there are unfortunately those who will try to pillage while they can. You might well find yourself aided by soldiers or men who very clearly look like they ought to be bandits themselves, but they're here to help you keep the peace.

• Poke into houses, because why not see if there's anything interesting in there? The people live simple lives and don't have very much, and their homes are often small, cozy spaces. Please don't break their pottery looking for loot. One house in particular might smell a bit familiar on the inside.
