I don't have any particular dreamer/world shards in mind that I'm set on! They could go after a Shard in a difficult location or involving a situation Akechi could take advantage of and get away before Ryouma really has a chance to do anything, whether it involved fighting something or doing something unpleasant.
I did consider Rin's world since it's a Fate/ AU. His last event in canon was literally him encountering his double, who was a version of himself from an AU where he was a normal Heroic Spirit and not a Counter Guardian. No pressure to actually do this!! I'm not even sure if it's an available Shard lol it's just one idea I had earlier because I was thinking of ways to do a Master/Servant AU that wasn't just vibing and doing exploration and the Advocate trying to get people to understand each other seemed like a sufficient excuse why it might throw a Meri and a Zeni together for that.
So, they could potentially get forcibly thrown together as a Master/Servant pair, which would also give Akechi 3 Command Seals to use (but it only takes one to ruin his day lmao). Ryouma would try to explain them without admitting that they can be used to have total control over a Servant because he actually does not enjoy the Master-Servant experience and doesn't like the idea that someone can control him, but like, TOO BAD I GUESS??
Anyway, they could encounter an obstacle along the way, like a trap or something that can't be breached by ordinary means that puts Akechi in danger. That would force Ryouma to fill in more details about what Command Seals can actually do because you can do some reality-bendy things you can't ordinarily do if you use them, and Akechi would be able to use one to solve the problem.
Or, there is a ton of lore just scattered around the place for nerds to find, and Akechi could pick the knowledge up somewhere and keep the fact that he knows what he's doing a secret until the end. Akechi is definitely bright enough, even without any magical knowledge, to figure out how to use that if he wanted to just from context clues, so either would work.
Ryouma would expect a greater likelihood of a betrayal in this case only because he recognises his own vulnerability to his own canon bullshit, but Akechi could easily seem like someone who wouldn't pull that, especially if they seemed like they were working well together the rest of the time.
