There isn't much difference, honestly! Because the bearers were essentially where they were, and people didn't move them, they don't really see bearers whose resting rooms were in Skysong as particularly offensive or "banished", because they are Meris. They will be fairly judgemental about Meris who decides to continue that pattern, but the fact that their resting rooms were elsewhere is not really the fault of the bearers, and therefore not really something to consider. At best, they may just be more unfamiliar with their faces, since a lot of the Skysong residents don't tend to leave the city. However, as the bearers wake, the powers that be in Meridian *are* familiar with these bearers, and will make sure that they are given a welcome fitting of their positions (AKA what their tier within the faction is.)
