Well, I have more certainty on the tether than the future of things here, I admit…

I may as well start with that. Technically speaking, I came from two worlds. One realm is my true home, and one is where I am summoned. I have ties to both that run deeply. It is not impossible that my tie to the latter could be severed, and so in truth, I cannot be certain about the fate of that world. But the former? No, if it were still there, I would know. I likely could not be here at all, were that the case, as I would have been pulled back to it.
