We are all most certainly being lied to.

(but the thing with lies is that they are all clues to something greater, something hidden.)

There is no such thing as honest people, honest governments, or honest gods. And you cannot walk out your door without being lied to at least once in the period of a day. But understanding that that is simply the way of things is important, as is balancing yourself so as not to become paranoid.
