Forget the headache of figuring out this strange new world for now—that could be dealt with later, after a little bit of fun.
And damn, the place sure doesn’t disappoint. Gavial’s right at home amongst the rowdier crowds, cheering on every move and counterplay, laughing and hollering with the rest of the audience from one match to the next. It almost feels a bit like being back at home, cheering on sparring matches with the rest of the Tiacuah. She’s already naturally inclined to yearn for a good, friendly fight, but that little twinge of homesickness sure drives up that desire further.
So when she hears someone beside her in the crowd clamoring for a turn in the arena, Gavial immediately turns to get a look, an excited glint dancing in her eyes. The woman at her side has been loving every minute of the fights, and now that she’s getting a good look at her, she can already tell with that build of hers that she’s a strong one.
