He waits - almost until the last moment - and then dashes forward with a yell, his lance thrust out in front of him to meet the charging beast. It doesn't try to dodge - perhaps blinded by it's eagerness to get at its prey - and the weapon sinks in with force. There's a crash as the two come together, but Dimitri is still on his fight - and the monster howls out in pain. ]
