[ This is a nearly familiar pattern at this point. A new crop of Shard-Bearers shows up all at once, and the two cities immediately get to “celebrating” them. Recruiting, more like, but… It’s not something Sebastian has particular investment in. The new Shard-Bearers will find their way to a faction sooner or later, and though he’s willing to be a bit of a guiding hand, his skill for persuasion tends to be useful a bit later as someone is uncertain of their choice.

However, the actual celebrations were interesting, at least.

He had attended Highstorm’s last time, so it only seemed fair to see what Springstar offered while he still could. He’s sure Zenites wouldn’t be welcome eventually. And indeed, clad all in dark colors (though matching the Meridian’s Greek aesthetic), he’s probably the most obvious Zenite here. He’s polite though as he merely watches and takes in the sights of Springstar’s effort, and his nonintrusive presence eventually brings the two of them to stand near each other, though he doesn’t acknowledge the young lady.

At least, not until he hears a very distinct growl. ]
