[ Childe notices that bright hair most likely before Diluc can recognize him, if at all. He knows Diluc from Fatui intel and from Kaeya. Even if he'd rather forget about it, he did make a promise to himself to always look for this person for Kaeya's sake. Not that he ever expected to see him in Alenroux of all places. Surely Kaeya must know already, because Diluc's shard should have disappeared. Still, seeing him here without Kaeya has him wondering if they hit it off or if things went awry. If things went wrong, well ... would the head of the Ragnvindr family actively choose the opposing side? Or would he go regardless? Guess it's something he needs to find out as an agent of Zenith and hopefully prevent, if he can. Both Kaeya and Zhongli will have trouble with that if so.
So Diluc may at several points feel like he's being watched but have no luck identifying the source. However, after he speaks with a native or other shard-bearer, as he heads to move from that area, Childe will end up in his path. Lackluster blue eyes are sharp as they assess Diluc and if he's harmonized or not (he's a hell of a lot not if a threat if he has, obviously) but the lack of a vision on his person tells enough. His expression had been initially unreadable but he opens it with a cheerful and friendly smile, the kind the eleventh Harbinger has become very well known for and surely if Diluc didn't know about it before, the Traveler ratted Childe out to the man at some point to fix that. Not to mention, he's not she if Kaeya would warn Diluc of Fatui being present.
Either way, he's friendly, but not stupid. He clearly keeps his distance (because, honestly, even if Childe will always be a loyalist to her Majesty that doesn't mean he had to agree with how Dottore operates. ]
Master Diluc Ragnvindr, I take it? Fancy seeing you here. Enjoying the sights?
