[ honestly he doesn't have any intention to convince her one way or another. She's going to do what she wants no matter what he says. There's just really no point. One of the others will be certainly more persuasive and considered further he imagines, but he gather's they won't get her to lean one way she wasn't already leaning towards. All he intended was to highlight she knows people she likes that are on this side, even if those people aren't exactly him.

At her mention of it only being if Zenith gains enough power, he shakes his head.

Hm... actually, not necessarily. Ask Kaeya about it when you see him. I don't see why your brother's any less capable of doing the same. For most Zenith, it's not that which ultimately compels us to be here, anyway. It simply is what seems to be the more likely truth between the two stories. Most Meridian want to hope that things can be brought back to the way they were, but for me... the Matron is the only one who has shown she has any kind of power to affect such a thing at all, winner or loser.

You could go Meridian and he could still show up.

[ he blinks at Lumine's statement as to what the reasoning is for the hearsay of Meri justification on the invasion before chuckling. ] Yeah, that explanation does track with the Meridian popular opinion that Zenith are evil creatures of the dark. Lady Yima has had control of Alenroux for quite some time already, though. They are in the losing position from their standpoint and they took over quite easily. That doesn't really go with the accusation Zenith is making preparations to do such a thing, whether they actually do it or not, does it? If we were, it should have been much harder for them because we would have had some preparations already made to carry out such a threat. They've been planning this before we fought for the Oracle. I'm sure plenty of Meri citizens believe it to be true, though.

Anyway, you aren't someone I can persuade—Most shard-bearers aren't truly on the fence enough. I can just answer questions and doubts... and make sure you have a coat to keep warm if you need one. That sort of thing.
