( whilst marc has the initial vibe and the energy of a man who probably doesn't care about religion either, it's the furthest thing from the truth. his relationship with judaism and, by extension, his father (and vice versa) is a constant thread throughout his life, despite how little he'll ever acknowledge it. it's there in his relationship with khonshu, in how he views his service to khonshu, his mission and his debt. in how he feels guilt at having been raised to worship a god who'd taken his people out of egypt and now he worships a god who kept him tied there, in both death and in life.
