[All in all, Gavial is… surprisingly adept at adjusting to change, in her own sort of way. She dealt with the culture shock of leaving the incredibly simplistic life she grew up with in the jungles to roam the wider world as a merc, and navigated it again when she went from that sort of instability to the more structured life aboard the pharmaceutical company’s landship taking care of Oripathy patients. (And occasionally beating up bad guys! Fun!)

Maybe this situation is a much bigger leap, but it’s still the same thing in the end. She’ll figure it out, even if takes a little longer.

So even if she’s not sporting the same toothy grin that she had at the start of this conversation, she still doesn’t look terribly concerned about the whole thing.]
