[with diluc here, kaeya may not love himself more, but diluc will force kaeya to at least take care of himself more. and love kaeya for kaeya, until the man decides he is worth the love and attention. diluc only has himself to blame for kaeya's lack of self-worth. he and his father had spent years encouraging kaeya and building him up - only for diluc to betray that trust and tear it all down.

and so, it is only right that he be the one to build kaeya back up again. though he's so, so glad kaeya had people before diluc came in. even if kaeya doesn't trust anyone fully, kaeya has a tendency to just. make people like him. and it isn't due to his outward personality. it's the true parts of him that shine through that attracts people.]
