There are many things I like about this place. Its beauty. The diversity of the inhabitants, and the variety of customs and cultures to be found here. The climate also; I am not well suited to cold places.
[Even though winter is now beginning in Springstar, the air is only pleasantly cool. This is much the same as his home city had been; Oppara was mild year round.]
Were I on a sabbatical, I think I would like Springstar very much — although I do miss nighttime. [Double-strength sunshine for 24 hours a day is pretty rough, if he has to spend any amount of time out of doors.] But it is hard to appreciate it properly because of my circumstances for being here.
