[Technically speaking Sothis had been an alien, and the Agarthans the native humans... before conflict between them had resulted in the Agarthans ousted from their wartorn lands and banished to the darkness below the earth. Yet, humans crafted from Sothis's hand populated the planet in their stead, and while they warred amongst each other as well, their hardships and evils could be blamed on the corrupting influence of the Agarthans that lingered still. They'd still do cruel things but... the Agarthans fanned those flames into an all-consuming inferno.
Honestly, when Sothis had told him all this, he had difficulty in believing it... but the events at Garreg Mach with the dark mages, summoning giant, hulking machines and bizarre weapons that could attack with great power and from such a distance - he had no choice but to believe her.]
No vampires, but... advanced civilisations that fell into decline due to their own hubris, and aliens... out of curiosity, what were these aliens like? Could they transform into divine beasts?
