[If she should find herself heartened at the clarification, Midna isn't certain that she does. That, she suspects, is the newness of the situation, however. Her thoughts in a few days or more, may change on that front and she's aware of it. It doesn't change or affect her resolve, as far as she's aware. If you're a god of war, then why be so directly involved yourself. You have followers, disciples. Most gods would just have others do things on their behalf. Protect as you will, or whatever a god would do with divinity, but I imagine others would wage war for you.
