[Quetzalcoatl’s temple feels like such a novelty because it reminds Gavial a lot of the old temples back in her own home. For the most part the forests of the Beyond might not exactly match the feeling of the jungles where she grew up, but the area around the large structure definitely has that lush and humid feel. If Gavial was more prone to homesickness, this’d be the sort of thing that would set it off for sure. But as it is, it makes for a fond little diversion.
It isn’t too often that she swings by this place, but today’s been a calm one with nothing on the agenda, so a little venture to stretch her legs sounds like just what she needs. Gavial’s perched up on the stone of the second large tier from the bottom, leaning back casually and enjoying the sights. Locals popping in for a bit of worship is becoming a familiar sight, so she thinks nothing of it when she catches sight of a pair of people wandering in from the woods. One makes their way on up the steps as usual, but the other woman stays behind, poking around the place more curiously.
Gavial watches her for a bit, posture as relaxed as ever, and eventually calls out.]

Pretty cool, isn’t it?
