You'll find a general lack of information here regarding...anything to do with why and how we come to be here. Some suspect it, others don't, but the best guess anyone seems to have is that time passes at a different rate here than back home.

As for the others, they're Dimitri and Claude from some...version of Fódlan where they didn't cross paths with you. I know that sounds insane, but I've been here long enough to accept it's somehow the case.

[ Strange as it is, it's best that Shez know in advance. Dimitri and Claude look different, the former markedly so, but to not be known or remembered... At least he and Byleth know and remember Shez. For the moment, Yuri witholds the bit about some other Byleth coming to the rescue instead of Shez, for all that it may imply.

As good at rolling with the punches as Shez is, there's only so much to drop on the man's lap at once. ]
