Nothing to do with straining the fabric of the universe or cracking open reality like an egg. Although there's no Grail here, so he's not quite sure what keeps him here rather than the void. The memories he has are fuzzy, still blanketed by the darkness he's emerged from - fragments of conversations and an idyllic daily laugh mingled with a ruined church and something closer to his true self. A Grail War fought over and over and over again.

He laughs and there's a rush of mingled emotions. Anger, hate, regret, a sick sort of want and possessive need. ]
