Then at least you have others whom you can freely ask for assistance. Not that you need mistrust the others in Meridian, either. By and large, I have found them to be of good character.
[There are a few outliers, but… the ones he’s thinking of are obvious enough that he doesn’t feel the need to warn about them ahead of time. There may be some difficult people in his own faction, but none whom he would describe as dangerously deceptive.]
The attitude here has not always been so strained, but in the year that I’ve been living in Kenos, Highstorm has always been rather formal in its presentation. There is a certain arrogance that lives in many of the residents here, especially when it comes to those visiting from Springstar.
