[Some of the things this man asks are simpler to answer than the others. The first question, Liem doesn’t even need to stop to think about. The answer comes to his lips readily:]

I’ve spoken with Yuri on a couple occasions, though not face-to-face. Byleth I’ve had the fortune of knowing for some months now. His work ethic is excellent.

I’m sure the ending of the last Oracle trial hasn’t helped tensions any, but I wouldn’t say that’s the only reason for the chill towards those from Springstar. Some might feel threatened by the shrines out in the Beyond, or the increase in Springstar involvement in Alenroux affairs.

[Taken all together, it really doesn’t seem like a good past couple months for Zenith’s faithful. Though, of course, Springstar was in a rather similar position itself only a short while ago.]
