[ Silco didn't know if he understood β€” or agreed β€” the sentiment of remaining powerless, but gods were gods, and they all had such odd ways of thinking, odd logic, inhuman. They had no worries about their long-term mortality because it had never been a concern to them. It was similar to Sebastian. Silco had spent a long time considering gods β€” and not just because he hated Quetz β€” but the real answer to why they were like that was simple.

They simply had little to prove to mortals, did they?

So he could only ignore such a statement, about not opting for power yet, though his eyes do stare right at Tezca when he does, as if he were considering.

Hm, perhaps it is because I've known little other than conflict my entire life.

[ It's idle, before he turned his attention toward Highstorm, and then nodded out toward the rest of the land. ]

I would send you to Springstar.

Oh, no, not the city itself, with their revelry and... [ Ugh ] Light, but if you find the sewers there, you could find a true gem underneath the city. Kowloon, the city beneath Springstar in the below.

The trip there is dire, and I would suggest that you tread carefully, given your...condition. Only those that know the way can find it.

It is... much more lively than either here or Highstorm, and I mean that in the best of ways.
