[ Amos' expression turns contemplative, grin sliding off his face at the idea of her being with rough crowds as a kid. At getting betrayed... shit, he hopes not at that young an age, but who knows. It's not exactly a kind world out there a lot of the time.

He watches her, waiting to see what Karlach is going to say next, if she's going to elaborate, and... nope. Out of sight, out of mind, and Amos' body language perks right up alongside hers. ]

I'd say we're about halfway there. You can see the market there — [ and he angles his head towards it, stalls and booths lining the centre of town — ] so that'd be a good place to get some new threads. It's pretty much all good shit. And over that way — [ tilting his head in the opposite direction — ] there's a diner called Benny's. Perfect place to go to if you're hungover.
